Bush’s Pasture Park

600 Mission Street SE, Salem, Oregon  97302

Once the farmstead of Salem’s Bush family, on the ancestral lands of the Kalapuya people, the park retains groves of native Oregon White Oak trees sheltering seasonal camas fields and wildflowers. Walking trails connect open pastures with the Municipal Rose Garden, the Rhododendron Hillside Garden and a flowering tree collection planted by Oregon landscape architects Elizabeth Lord and Edith Schryver.

Must See Highlights: The Bush House Museum (1878) and Conservatory (1882) complement the nearby Bush Barn Art Center galleries.

Admission Details: Park, Art Center & Conservatory are free. Admission for guided tours of the Museum. ADA accessible. Park entrance at High & Bush Streets.

Deepwood Museum & Gardens and Lord & Schryver’s Gaiety Hollow are within 2 blocks of Bush’s Pasture Park.

Promotions and Events for City of Garden Month :
• The Mission Street Parks Conservancy Plant Sale is Friday July 16 and Saturday July 17, from 10 am to 3 pm both days! There will be some herb related activities for plant sale visitors throughout the day. There will also be family activities on Saturday July 17
